This one was cool! Another Pinterest find. You can see my glass cake pan, filled with a layer of baking soda. I found the medicine droppers on amazon, and filled them half full of vinegar with a drop or two of food coloring. I labeled each bottle so she could play with the colors. She had a blast testing out the fizzy color collections!

So, workbooks are not really my thing, but if it is Frozen, she LOVES it! I found this at Target and it has a ton of stickers, her other favorite. She has been thrilled to work on her letters, numbers, patterns, and shapes in this book. Popsicles are perfect for breakfast on this hot morning, and I don't feel bad about it because we made them ourselves. We put raspberries and strawberries in the blender with about a cup of coconut water. Super yummy and healthy too! We found these cool little tiles at Serendipity Street Boutique in Rapid City. Amy, the owner, has all kinds of lovely hoodies for kids and adults in her shop. K was immediately entertained with these tiles that are a mix of Legos, Tetris, and fun. She has primary colors in stock too. Today, we worked on our numbers with these free play dough mats from http://m.lifeovercs.com/fd6skx5/articles/65046/Free-Dough-Mats-for-Counting-to-10. Although it is pretty easy for Miss K, I really liked the tens frame at the bottom of these mats, that is where I put our focus during conversation. We arranged the dots in different ways and discussed how many more to ten. She just thought she was playing with the dough, learning is FUN! |
